About the role

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office at a minimum 1-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics and Automation Specialist to drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. This role combines deep business and operational analytical expertise with hands-on automation skills to streamline workflows, enhance data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analytics

. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
. Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
. Translate business questions into analytical models and present insights to senior leadership.
. Apply statistical methods and machine learning where appropriate to enhance predictive capabilities.

Automation & Data Engineering

. Develop automated ETL pipelines and data workflows using tools like Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, or cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
. Build process automation using RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) or scripting languages.
. Integrate disparate data sources including APIs, databases, and flat files.
. Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation of analytics and automation solutions.

Leadership & Collaboration

. Oversee the development and management of agent schedules, shift patterns, and time-off planning to align with forecasted demand.
. Lead intraday monitoring and real-time adherence to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
. Mentor junior data analysts and contribute to developing analytics standards and best practices.
. Act as a subject matter expert on analytics and automation tools, processes, and trends.
. Partner with Business, IT and data engineering teams to maintain and enhance data infrastructure.
. Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects with measurable business impact.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

The ideal candidate must have a strong background and extensive experience in the Transfer Agency Operations and/or Dealer Services Operations, and Banking Operations involving data analysis, process optimization and automation using modern data tools leveraging the TA system as well. You will work cross-functionally with business, IT, and operations teams to transform data into strategic value to enhance operational service levels.

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
