About the role

Job Title: Nuclear Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: Cambridge, ON | On-site Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 Benefits: RRSP, health/dental/vision package, reimbursement for tuition and professional dues, paid vacation, personal days, and sick days. The Position The Subject Matter Expert will provide support on a portfolio of projects within a defined sector of the Eclipse business. The Subject Matter Expert will leverage extensive sector specific experience and ensure all equipment and services provided by Eclipse meet and exceed customer expectations. The incumbent will work with the management team and plant personnel to deliver the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture on time and on budget. What You'll Do Here: Technical: Regularly review overall project status and open issues identified through the escalation process, and lead implementation of recovery plans as necessary Provide oversight to Project Engineers and Designers in the development and completion of all technical deliverables, including direct involvement in design verification/validation process Monitor overall health of assigned portfolio, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability is achieved and maintained Interfacing with key decision makers of customer, ensures a common understanding of ongoing project status and proactively addresses any quality, schedule, or cost concerns Identifies new opportunities and assists in development and execution of capture plan Proactively recognize issues, initiate action, assist in problem solving and evaluate results on major issues Project Execution: Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely Complete other duties and projects as assigned Ensure scheduled milestones are met Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business Travel: Expectation of travel to vendor/supplier/customer locations is less than 10% of time, however, may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet project needs What We're Looking For: Education: Has successfully completed a University Degree or College Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience. Preference will be given to candidates holding an Ontario P.Eng license is required. Formal project management training through PMI or equivalent, PMP is an asset. Experience: 5+ years as a Project Manager in the field of Nuclear Civil Engineering directly related to the sector 10+ years sector specific experience in a technical leadership capacity, with demonstrated success in large, high-profile projects
