We are seeking a strategic and results driven Head of Financial Transactions & Settlements to lead financial transformation for a Calgary based organization. This leader will scale operations, improve efficiency, and drive financial excellence by leveraging strong systems knowledge, AI, and automation around all AR/AP/Procure-to-Pay and transactional settlements. The ideal candidate is a proven people leader who builds high performance teams, aligns stakeholders through clear priorities and KPIs, and delivers measurable impact across the business. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Partner with the business to deliver meaningful improvements that support customers and employees
• Oversee cash applications, AR, and procure-to-pay, driving best-in-class, friction-free processes through AI and automation ‑to‑pay, driving best‑in‑class, friction‑free processes through AI and automation
• Own and maintain effective SOX controls across all areas of responsibility
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for transactional audit support
• Maintain clear, current process documentation and support handbooks

Your strengths include:

• 15+ years in transactional focused operational accounting, including public company experience ‑company experience
• 10+ years of management experience leading and mentoring teams of 10 or more
• Proven track record of maintaining rigorous financial operations and controls
• Demonstrated ability to scale processes, controls, and financial systems using emerging technologies, including AI

• Experience supporting international operations and entering new markets
