Location: Remote - Canada-wide

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex business and technology transformation initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on enterprise business systems implementations, including ERP, CRM, data, and other strategic technology platforms that enable operational efficiency, business growth, and organizational transformation.

The successful candidate brings hands-on experience leading enterprise software implementations and understands that project success extends beyond technology deployment. They are skilled at coordinating people, processes, data, technology, and change activities to ensure successful adoption and business outcomes. This individual thrives in cross-functional environments, drives accountability, manages risk proactively, and maintains focus on delivering value while minimizing operational disruption.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise business system implementations and strategic transformation initiatives. Develop and maintain project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Establish project governance structures, decision-making forums, and reporting mechanisms. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, executive updates, and stakeholder reviews. Coordinate activities across business, technical, vendor, and partner teams. Ensure project deliverables meet quality expectations and business objectives.

Stakeholder & Change Management

Build strong relationships with project sponsors, business leaders, subject matter experts, and external partners. Drive alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities and perspectives. Support organizational change management, communications, training, and adoption activities. Escalate issues appropriately and facilitate timely decision-making. Promote accountability and ownership across project teams.

Implementation & Readiness

Lead implementation planning activities including solution design coordination, testing, deployment planning, and operational readiness. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business validation activities. Develop and manage cutover plans and go-live readiness assessments. Support hypercare and stabilization activities following deployment. Ensure business processes, documentation, training materials, and support structures are prepared for implementation.

Vendor & Partner Management

Manage relationships with implementation partners, consultants, and third-party vendors. Monitor partner performance, deliverables, timelines, and contractual commitments. Facilitate issue resolution and escalation with external delivery teams. Ensure vendor activities remain aligned with project objectives and organizational priorities.

Reporting & Governance

Provide regular status reporting to project sponsors, steering committees, and executive leadership. Track project performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk indicators. Maintain project documentation and governance artifacts. Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies, standards, and practices.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience leading medium to large-scale business and technology initiatives. Demonstrated experience delivering a minimum of two enterprise software implementation cycles through the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, including ERP (Finance & Operations or Business Central) and/or CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) solutions. Experience managing complex business transformation initiatives involving process redesign, data migration, systems integration, testing, organizational change management, and operational readiness. Proven experience managing cross-functional project teams including business stakeholders, technical resources, implementation partners, and third-party vendors. Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, change control, and executive-level reporting. Experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support. Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and stakeholder communications. Excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the broader Microsoft ecosystem. Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering both ERP and CRM implementations. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, or related Microsoft technologies. Experience within technology services, managed services, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or professional services organizations. Experience supporting post-implementation optimization, adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Success in this role is demonstrated through:

Projects delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. Successful implementation and adoption of enterprise business systems. Effective management of project risks, issues, and dependencies. Positive stakeholder and sponsor feedback. High levels of operational readiness and user adoption at go-live. Effective collaboration with business leaders, technical teams, and implementation partners. Consistent adherence to project governance and delivery standards.

Compensation: In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is ranging from $65K to $95K, with a highly competitive commission structure on top.
