About the role
We are looking for aSenior Platform Development Engineer, whom we call**Platform Development Engineer-III,**to help evolve and scale our core engineering platforms. In this role, you’ll build robust, self-service platforms that empower developers to ship faster, operate confidently, and deliver value with minimal friction.
As aSenior Platform Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in codifying infrastructure, expanding self-service capabilities, and driving operational excellence across our platform ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who thrives on execution, automation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement scalable self-service capabilities across our engineering platforms
- Improve developer experience by simplifying onboarding, deployment, and operational workflows
- Translate architectural designs into production-grade implementations
- Drive platform reliability, security, and performance improvements aligned with industry best practices
- Maintain our platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, developers, and operations teams to ensure platform capabilities meet evolving business needs
- Participate in support rotation, including occasional after-hours response, to maintain platform stability
- Maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and platform adoption
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, raising overall engineering standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation
- 3+ years with cloud providers (Azure preferred)
- 2+ years building and managing platforms using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker)
- Experience managing CI/CD platforms and tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, ACR, Artifactory, Packer)
- Experience supporting Kubernetes or cloud-native applications (microservices, containers)
- Strong expertise in cloud identity, networking, and security (e.g., Entra ID)
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, HCL, etc.)
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and cloud-native operations
- Solid grasp of platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence principles
- Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

$114,000.00 - $120,000.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
