About the role
The Financial Analyst will analyze General Ledger activity, perform account analysis, prepare financial statements, and maintain capital expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
- Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by others.
- Coordinate posting of journal entries to the General Ledger.
- Prepare, analyze, audit, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Assist District Managers by helping them analyze financial statements and support the forecasting and budgeting process.
- Assist in creating key performance indicators for the business, analyze them, and communicate results to management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
- Four-year degree in Accounting.
- 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Able to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.
- Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:

Work in an indoor office environment 95% of the time.

Noise level is usually moderate.
