• Collaborate with the Child & Youth team to plan, implement and lead activities in accordance with YMCA standards and program expectations, primarily in our Child Minding program at H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre

• Foster meaningful relationships and provide a place to belong for children and families

• Ensure the safety of all members, participants, staff, and property

• Promote philanthropy by participating in YMCA of Southern Interior BC community initiatives

• Promote the YMCA's volunteer philosophy and integrate the value of volunteerism in interactions with members, volunteers, donors, and colleagues

• Passion to help children achieve their full potential through purposeful programming and implementation

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Experience working with children and youth with exceptionalities, an asset

• Available to work evenings 4:30 to 7:30pm, and weekends 8:45am to 12:15pm
