The UCDSB is currently hiring for a Co-Op Program Teacher to prep for the Summer Semester.
POSITION: Co-Op Program Teacher
LOCATION: TBD
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1
- TERM: June 2, 2026 - June 27, 2026 (total of 30 hours)
HOURS: Monday through Friday in two-hour increments between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Summary: Under the direction of the Principal TR Leger, the incumbent will work to implement UCDSB initiatives for the safe delivery of the Co-Op Summer School Program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attend planning meetings with the Principal and other summer school staff to coordinate, organize and prepare for Summer Semester
- Plan, implement and deliver the Co-op summer semester teacher orientation session with the assistance of the summer semester admin team.
- Review all Co-op information sheets, curriculum, forms, websites, assignments and slide decks from the 2024-2025 summer school semester and make effective updates in preparation for the upcoming summer school semester
- Prepare materials needed for the Summer School Co-op teachers
- Prepare materials needed for the Summer School Co-op students
- Review Summer School Co-op applications for completion, course links, eligibility
- Support the Summer School Co-op teachers with planning, implementing and delivering their Co-op summer semester student orientation session
- Support summer school co-op teachers by fielding questions from them, during the summer school session, regarding co-op student placements, courses, and challenges and achievement
- Liaise with the Principal and other administrative staff as required
- Utilize knowledge and expertise to share best practices with summer co-op teachers
- Ensure all summer school co-op marks are reported and files are returned to TR Leger School at the end of the summer school semester
Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrate excellent, detailed knowledge of the current Ministry of Education Co-op Education Document, policies and procedures
- Know eligibility requirements for OYAP as well as policies and procedures regarding participation and registration in a trade
- Be adept while utilizing MTEL
- Be familiar with Summer School Semester timelines, curriculum and course delivery methods

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications:
- An Ontario Teachers Certificate of Qualification
- Member of the Ontario College of Teachers in good standing
- Qualifications in Intermediate/Senior
- Minimum of three years, full-time equivalent teaching experience in Co-Op
- Part 1 Additional Qualification for Co-Op preferred
