EMPLOYMENT/INTERNSHIP

CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

(Supervision of construction sites)

SUMMER 2026

The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux wishes to recruit a student in civil engineering, who will be returning as a full time student in the Fall 2026 session.

Tasks

  • Supervision of construction sites;

  • Performs surveys and calculates quantities for materials to establish progressive and final financial statements or for any other purpose;

  • Follow-up on invoicing;

  • Help draw up plans and specifications;

  • Special projects;

  • Provide service to citizens.

Qualifications required

Qualifications

  • Collegial or University studies in Civil Engineering
  • Bilingualism essential – French and English, spoken and written
  • Driver’s permit
  • Health and safety on construction sites certification (ASP card)
  • Knowledge in Word and Excel

Employment status

Schedule

  • From Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • From April 27 to August 28, 2026

  • 35 hours per week

  • Hourly salary $21.16
