We’re looking for a strong, experienced Front-End Engineer to join our team and help build performant, scalable, and elegant interfaces for modern websites and web applications. You’ll work across React and Vue ecosystems (with frameworks like Next.js and Nuxt.js), integrating with APIs and delivering exceptional front-end experiences across devices.

This role blends deep technical proficiency with a strong sense of UI craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is framework-flexible, fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript, and experienced with building responsive, API-driven interfaces.

A look at your responsibilities:

• Build React-based or Vue-based front ends using Next.js , Nuxt.js , or similar
• Connect to and manage data from RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, mobile-first, accessible web components
• Leverage TypeScript , Tailwind , and component-driven architecture
• Optimize apps for performance, SEO, and user experience
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and architectural discussions with cross-functional teams

Requirements and desired skills:

• 5+ years in front-end development
• Strong in JavaScript (ES6+) , TypeScript , HTML5 , and CSS3
• Experience with React ( preferred ) and/or Vue ( secondary) (Next.js/ Nuxt)
• Understanding of SSR , SSG , and PWA best practices
• Experience integrating APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
• Proficient with Git , CI/CD pipelines , and modern dev tooling
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR).
• Fluency in both French and English is considered a strong asset for this role, given our offices in Québec, Canada and the United States, and our collaboration with English & french-speaking teams and clients.

• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities with flexibility and agility
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with headless CMS and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce)
• Experience with Docker , Node.js , Express , H3 or light back-end debugging
• Interest or experience in building PWA-like experiences.
• Exposure to design systems, Storybook, or Tailwind-based component libraries
