As we grow, we're looking for an experienced HR Manager to own the full employee experience — from recruiting to onboarding, performance management, and benefits — for our global workforce. Role Overview This is a hands-on, high-impact role covering the full employee lifecycle. A significant portion of your time will be spent on technical recruiting — sourcing and hiring engineers, infrastructure specialists, and other technical roles that are core to CacheFly's product and growth. Beyond recruiting, you'll own our performance management framework (we run on EOS), partner with leaders to raise the bar on expectations, and ensure managers are equipped to lead with consistency and accountability. Reporting to the CFO, you'll work closely with leadership to keep our people practices clear, fair, and aligned with business outcomes. This role is ideal for an HR generalist who thrives on ownership, enjoys building structure, and is comfortable as a department of one. Key Responsibilities Global Talent Acquisition Own full-cycle recruiting across all roles, with a heavy focus on technical hiring (engineering, infrastructure, and related functions). Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, success criteria, compensation, and hiring decisions. Manage sourcing, coordination, offers, background checks, and onboarding. Ensure compliant hiring practices across geographies and worker classifications. Maintain efficient, candidate-friendly processes that consistently raise the talent bar. HR Business Partner & Employee Relations Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, managers, and leadership. Advise and coach managers on setting expectations, delivering feedback, and managing performance and employee issues. Support employee lifecycle events including reviews, performance actions, and separations. Handle employee concerns and conflicts with discretion and sound judgment. Maintain a pulse on culture, engagement, and morale through proactive feedback loops. HR Operations Own benefits administration, enrollments, renewals, and vendor coordination. Manage payroll inputs, HR systems, records, and reporting in partnership with Finance. Ensure HR data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Support compensation administration and benchmarking. Maintain and update HR policies and documentation to reflect how we operate. Training, Onboarding & Remote Culture Own onboarding programs that clearly communicate expectations, role responsibilities, and how work gets done at CacheFly. Partner with managers to assess skill gaps and identify development needs Coordinate internal or external training to support manager effectiveness and employee growth. Maintain required compliance training and internal HR resources. Promote effective remote-work practices and connection in a distributed-first environment. 5+ years of hands-on HR experience in a generalist or HR manager role. Proven track record recruiting for technical roles (engineering, infrastructure, or similar); experience in the tech industry is a strong plus, though not required. Experience operating as a department of one or within a lean HR function. Strong background in global recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations. Working knowledge of U.S. employment law; global/contractor experience preferred. Highly organized, pragmatic, and trusted with confidential matters. Comfortable partnering closely with Finance and senior leadership. Proficient with modern HR tools and systems.
