Job Purpose & Responsibilities

Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, mulching, and general care of trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials.
Help install and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, planters, and turf areas.

Participate in on-the-job training in horticultural techniques.
Support special events or community programs as needed.
Assist with basic operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems.

Safely operate hand tools and small equipment.

Qualifications & Competencies

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Class 5 Driver License is preferred

More Details

May 4th, 2026 to October 30th, 2026.

The wage for this position is $21.33, 40 hours a week.

This position is within the scope of AUPE Local 118/016, and as such you will be required to adhere to articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
