About the role: The Remarketing Solutions Auction Coordinator will assist and support the administration of all programs and initiatives in which GM Financial has responsibilities for Remarketing, both internal or external to GMF. The Auction Coordinator performs functions and makes sales and financial decisions directly related to the preparation and sale of remarketed vehicles. This team member is responsible for completing a wide variety of complex tasks and has direct contact with other departments, GMF partners, and external vendors. Achieving optimal business results and department objectives in this position directly affects the financial results of the company.
In this role, you will:

Assist and support all Remarketing programs, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.

Manage email queues and respond within established service levels.

Submit and track transportation requests for vehicle transfers between auction locations.

Verify manufacturer recalls, provide documentation, and ensure repairs are completed before sale.

Approve or deny repair requests promptly and maintain positive communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Review auction processes to ensure vehicles are staged for sale nationwide and maximize financial impact.

Audit and reconcile sales data, invoices, and auction reports to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulations related to vehicle remarketing.

Participate in training, assist team members, and contribute to departmental goals and process improvements.

Adhere to company policies, demonstrate flexibility, and maintain positive relationships within the team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with high attention to detail.

- Skilled in managing financial aspects of vehicle sales, including auction charges, invoice approvals, and proceeds reconciliation.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Expertise in prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of handling high volumes of work with ownership and accountability.
- Flexible and adaptable to change while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of GM Financial systems, Remarketing Solutions, and AutoIMS is a plus.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- General office duties performed in a call center, auto finance, auction or dealership preferred
- Experience in providing customer service to internal and/or external customers
