About the role

As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests planning their stay. What you will be doing:

  • Handle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide detailed information about rooms, rates, packages, and hotel services

  • Accurately input, modify, and manage reservations in the Property Management System (e.g., Opera Cloud)

  • Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and promoting hotel offerings

  • Maintain a strong understanding of hotel availability, promotions, and policies

  • Ensure all guest preferences, special requests, and VIP notes are properly documented and communicated

  • Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

  • Monitor reservation accuracy and ensure compliance with company standards

  • Handle cancellations, changes, and billing inquiries with professionalism and care

  • Follow Forbes Five-Star service standards in all guest interactions

  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in a reservations, front office, or customer service role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Opera Cloud or similar reservation systems is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
