Maintenance Administrator, Student

Redpath Sugar is part of the ASR Group, the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar.
The Redpath Belleville plant is a blending and packaging operation producing a variety of sugar containing products for customers in Canada and the U.S. The plant operates state of the art high speed mixing and packaging systems supported by high level safety, quality and logistics systems.
We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing operation and have excellent communication skills, a drive for results and have the energy and vision to recognize and implement improvement opportunities both independently and as part of a team with members of all levels of an organization.
OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Student Maintenance Administrator is responsible for the processing and administrative functions of a variety of inventory and maintenance tasks. Duties include but not limited to reviewing and adjusting inventory; allocating usages to applicable inventory systems.
- Updates and maintains SAP plant maintenance systems.
- Communicates with suppliers on occasion.
- Performs other duties as required by management such as filing, organizing cabinets and other administrative duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience operating Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP preferred).
- Mechanical/Electrical background preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing is preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
EDUCATION:
-To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age and MUST be returning to school in the fall. Returning students are required to complete a new application.
- Working towards a Diploma or Degree in the Skilled Trades or Engineering.
- Technical School background desired.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- The wage for this position is $22.88 / hour.
- This position has shift premiums and is overtime pay eligible
- This is a vacant seasonal contract position
This is a seasonal position from approximately May 4, 2026 to August 28, 2026. All applicants must be enrolled and/or returning to a post-secondary institution in September 2026. This seasonal position is also available for students completing co-op terms.
