WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead strategic planning and analysis of flight schedules and airport capacity.

Evaluate infrastructure and maintenance projects for their impact on terminal and airside operations.

Run facility capacity studies and simulations to optimize resource use.

Collaborate across teams and with external partners to align schedules with operational constraints.

Guide and support scheduling team members, especially during seasonal coordination.

Monitor slot usage and contribute to strategic airline engagement.

Support long-range planning and scenario modeling using specialized tools.

Contribute to air service development initiatives with capacity assessments and documentation.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

A high school diploma.
-
6–8 years of experience in airline and/or airport operations, with a strong background in schedule planning or long-term resource planning.

Proficiency in planning and simulation software to assess capacity impacts of capital and maintenance projects.

Demonstrated experience managing airport resources such as gates, check-in counters, baggage systems, and terminal facilities.

Strong data analysis capabilities, including forecasting passenger demand and resource utilization using quantitative/statistical methods.

Experience with airport infrastructure, operational planning, and regulatory environments (e.g., TP 312, IATA WASG).

Working knowledge in forecasting tools or statistical software used for demand and capacity modeling.
WHAT OPTIONAL ELEMENTS SUPPORT YOUR APPLICATION (all are assets)

Bilingual in English and French.

Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline (e.g., Urban or Transportation Planning, Aviation Management, Business Administration, Data Science/Analytics, or equivalent).
