Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse Union: AUPE AUX Unit and Program: Brooks Home Care Primary Location: Brooks Home Care Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.40 Posting End Date: 09-JUL-2026 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 27-JUL-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 6 Shifts per cycle: 12 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Driver's License, Vehicle Required

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Applicable seniors health education courses an asset (NVCI, Supportive Pathways, Wound care).

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in geriatric care. Knowledge of computer applications Connect Care/Care Manager/Microsoft Outlook, Connect Care).
