The Department of Political Science is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Winter 2026. Please include your Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae and if applicable a copy of your Study/Work Permit. A brief course outline is optional.
POLI 379-001 Topic: Urban Politics (3 Credits - CAP 80)
This course will cover the study of urban politics in Canada and possibly abroad.
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- A completed PhD degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in Political Science or a discipline related to the course;
- Provide evidence of effective teaching ability as a result of having successfully taught a similar course;
- The candidate's area of specialization must be as close as possible to that of the course being offered;
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.
Monday and Wednesday 02:35 pm-03:55 pm, January 5, 2026 – April 14, 2026. Location: BURN 1B23.
Salary: $11,479 per course.
