Senior Data Entry Specialist- Project Management & Power Platform Coordinator
Contract until September 2027, based in Calgary Compensation- T4- $60/hr, INC- $75/hr
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Entry Specialist to support project execution, process improvement initiatives, and business operations through the effective use of Microsoft Power Platform tools. This role combines project coordination, workflow automation, data management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to drive operational efficiency and support business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, and project management activities, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and forms using Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Forms. Coordinate project activities, monitor timelines, track action items, and support project delivery. Gather business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and tracking tools to support business decision-making. Manage and validate data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver practical solutions. Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. Provide guidance and support to team members on established processes and tools.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, business operations, process improvement, or related roles. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Forms. Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform tools. Demonstrated experience coordinating projects and working with multiple stakeholders. Strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills. Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, and workflow procedures. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field. Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, or Microsoft Access. PMP, CAPM, Agile, or other project management certification considered an asset. Experience supporting operational improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
