About the role
Tasks
- Deliver practical and theoretical training in defensive driving.
- Assess the skills of new drivers through simulations or road tests.
- Observe and support drivers in equipment usage, inspections, and onboard technology.
- Provide on-site coaching to ensure tasks are carried out safely and independently.
- Offer ongoing coaching on safe delivery techniques and driving best practices.
- Identify training needs and recommend adjustments or complementary modules.
- Conduct follow-ups after incidents or risky behaviors.
- Participate in the analysis of events and incidents, in collaboration with the operations and safety teams.
- Travel to other sites when needed.
- Contribute to various internal safety and compliance initiatives.
- Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license (Class 1 considered an asset).
- Hands-on experience driving heavy or commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of safe handling practices for fuel or hazardous materials (an asset).
- Strong understanding of road transport laws and safety standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Availability for occasional travel to other sites.
- Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, required for constant communication with head office (100% of the time).
