Description Immediately Hiring! Warehouse Worker in Calgary, AB Full Time Benefits!
This position is for Full Time - Day Shift scheduled within store hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 4pm
- Saturday: 8am - 12pm, will occasionally work Saturday as needed.
- Sunday: Closed
As a Warehouse Worker , you will be the reason our retail and contractor customers come back into the store. Customers will be excited to see your friendly face because of the outstanding customer service you provide and the important relationships you develop with our regular and new customers every day!
Primary Responsibilities
- The position performs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control and general administrative functions.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of all products in the facilities and help maximize sales by efficiently receiving product deliveries, restocking the facility and shipping to customers.
- Ensure back room is organized to support receiving, storing and shipping of stock.
- Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoice for accuracy.
- PPC provides training on how to operate machinery such as hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts. Once trained, must be able to operate with or without reasonable accommodation safely.
- Able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone with or without accommodation.
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.

Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.

Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.

Understanding of basic math skills.

We ask that you can stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to use and drive an order picker a must.
