Our Coaches are part of a dynamic, mission-driven team that delivers structured mental health and educational support to families over the phone. You’ll help families navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and ensure continuity of care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide structured telephone support to families using evidence-based methods and scripts
- Teach skills, problem-solve, and provide encouragement during weekly calls
- Administer semi-structured interviews or questionnaires as required
- Ensure continuity of care in line with Strongest Families protocols
- Track client progress and maintain accurate documentation in the system
- Support team initiatives and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Empathy, strong communication, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to work evenings or late nights as required to meet client needs
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- All required training for the role is provided and paid
Preferred:
- Previous experience in mental health, education, or community support
- Diploma, Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with children, youth, or families is an asset

Strongest Families Institute is charitable organization providing evidence-based e-mental health services to children, youth, adults and families seeking help for mental health and other issues impacting health and well-being. We provide timely care to families by teaching skills through our unique distance coaching approach – supporting families virtually in the comfort and privacy of their own home. Strongest Families provides family-centered care that is customized to their needs based on our scientifically proven cognitive behavioural therapy.
Our programs are designed to support children and youth aged 3-17 as well as Adults 18+. Our effective and clinically tested modules include support for:
