Job Summary We are searching for a Junior Optimization Engineer who will work with our current customers finding ways to save energy, and reduce greenhouse gases within commercial buildings. You will be joining a team of energetic, positive, helpful people who believe in doing it right. Our team of dedicated individuals exercises initiative, sound judgement and communication skills to provide high quality and inventive solutions to our customers with customer satisfaction as the key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and have knowledge of building HVAC mechanical/electrical/control systems and equipment, and general DDC controls systems and device knowledge.
  • Will assist in writing proposals identifying energy and greenhouse gas saving measures
  • Use building automation analytics tools to support savings.
  • Coordinating within our internal teams on projects.
  • Effective and timely communication at all levels internally and externally.
  • Total customer satisfaction, internal and external.
  • Can coordinate within a team, and works well with customers.
  • Can support during meetings with customer’s energy managers and facility managers.
  • Adherence to schedules and deadlines.
  • Attention to company & customer safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics with the ability to apply for E.I.T.
  • CMVP, CEA or BCEM certified an asset.
  • Proficient with: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful, problem-solver that is energetic and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Focused and detail orientated
  • Team player that functions well in a busy environment
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
