About the role

Wyse Meter Solutions Inc. provides turnkey submetering and utility expense management services to property managers, building owners and developers across Canada. Wyse is unique in its ability to provide energy consumption transparency and accountability to its customers.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Sr. Manager, Meter Data Management (MDM) is responsible for leading Wyse's meter data operations across the full data lifecycle—from acquisition through validation, storage, analysis, and delivery. This individual will oversee the development and implementation of robust systems, quality assurance processes, and workflows to ensure accurate, secure, and timely availability of metering data for billing and performance monitoring.

The Sr. Manager will lead a high-performing team of analysts and specialists, providing strategic direction and operational oversight across MDM processes. The role acts as a key escalation point for meter data issues and collaborates cross-functionally to coordinate resources and deliver resolution.

A successful candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of data engineering principles. The role demands strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and a proven ability to implement innovative and scalable improvements within a regulated utility environment.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of meter data management processes and generate regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and methodologies to interpret complex meter data, identify patterns, anomalies, and trends, and present actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and reports to internal stakeholders, enabling informed and timely decision-making and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Other relevant duties will be assigned as required.
