All Terrain Property Maintenance Inc is hiring a Health, Safety + Compliance Coordinator to help coordinate, maintain, and continuously improve our health, safety, and compliance program across a busy landscape and property services operation. This part-time role supports the full program through health and safety administration, compliance systems, Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance, audits, training coordination, regulatory reporting, and consistent operational follow-through. This is a practical coordination role for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, confidential, and confident creating visibility, establishing touchpoints, and keeping important health, safety, and compliance priorities on track with managers, supervisors, and team members. You will help ensure the program stays current, organized, active, and improving over time through strong follow-up, clear communication, and disciplined administration.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As the Health, Safety + Compliance Coordinator, you will help coordinate, maintain, and strengthen the health, safety, and compliance program as a whole. That includes keeping the program organized and current, supporting day-to-day administration, driving follow-through, and identifying practical opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will: Coordinate the overall health, safety, and compliance program by helping keep policies, procedures, records, routines, and follow-up activities active, current, and aligned across the business Support ongoing continuous improvement of the program by identifying gaps, tracking recurring issues, and helping leaders improve documentation, communication, training, and accountability over time Maintain organized health, safety, compliance, inspection, training, and incident records Support Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) scheduling, agendas, minutes, inspection summaries, and action-item follow-up Track corrective actions, due dates, and open safety items from identification through to completion and closeout Drive timely follow-through on documentation, training records, incident details, inspection items, deadlines, and outstanding action items through professional, people-first communication Support Certificate of Recognition (COR) maintenance, audit preparation, and compliance documentation Coordinate required safety training records and proactively identify gaps before they become compliance issues Assist with regulatory reporting and required documentation where applicable Help managers and supervisors locate safety documents, forms, policies, records, and compliance materials Prepare clear summaries of open items, upcoming deadlines, closeout needs, documentation gaps, and compliance priorities so leaders can act quickly Communicate professionally with HR, managers, supervisors, field leaders, fleet/logistics, and operations Handle confidential employee, incident, and compliance information with care Support a consistent weekly safety administration review rhythm with HR or the hiring manager to maintain visibility, accountability, and forward motion
This role requires ownership. You are accountable for helping coordinate, maintain, and improve the health, safety, and compliance program as an active system, not just completing isolated administrative tasks. That means creating visibility around priorities, keeping documentation and routines current, maintaining clear due dates and follow-through, and helping the team stay organized, responsive, and aligned on what needs to happen next. In this part-time role, success comes from practical stewardship, consistent communication, and people-first follow-through that keeps the program moving forward.
What We’re Looking For Experience in health and safety administration, compliance coordination, HR administration, inspections, incident documentation, records management, committee coordination, or a similar role Strong organization and documentation habits Comfortable using AI tools, AI-enabled administrative workflows, automation systems, and Microsoft 365, especially Outlook, Excel, Forms, Teams, and SharePoint Confident reinforcing due dates, action items, and accountability with managers or team members in a professional, supportive way Ability to handle confidential information professionally Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to organize multiple priorities and keep records, deadlines, and follow-through accurate and up to date Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites if needed Comfortable learning and improving systems that automate reminders, strengthen documentation, and increase process consistency Comfortable working in a part-time role with reliable follow-through Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certification or previous committee involvement is considered an asset Experience with Ontario health and safety requirements is considered an asset Experience in landscaping, construction, trucking, property maintenance, snow operations, fleet, shop, yard, or another operational environment is considered an asset
