What this role is all about: The Project Management Resource Coordinator (internal title: Enterprise Resource Coordinator) plays a critical role in ensuring optimal resource allocation across all enterprise initiatives. This position serves as the central point of coordination for resource planning, tracking, and reporting, working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. The Enterprise Resource Coordinator will leverage technology and automation to streamline resource management processes and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

This is a part time role, approximately 20 hours/week. This role is open to hybrid working arrangements within British Columbia. What you'll do: Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering

  • Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, scrum masters, and functional teams to understand resourcing needs for all initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing guidance on resource availability, constraints, and optimization strategies.

Dynamic Resource Planning

  • Continuously update and refine resource requirements to reflect the fast-moving nature of projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between resource supply and demand, proactively identifying gaps and recommending solutions.

Resource Dashboard Management

  • Maintain an accurate, real-time resource allocation dashboard that is accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Highlight bottlenecks, capacity issues, and utilization trends to enable informed decision-making.

Automation & Process Optimization

  • Implement automation for key resource management functions using custom scripts or off-the-shelf applications.
  • Drive efficiency by reducing manual processes and improving data accuracy.

Strategic Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide detailed resource analytics and insights to support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and Annual Budgeting processes.
  • Deliver reports on resource supply vs. demand, utilization metrics, and forecasting to inform strategic planning.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure resource management practices adhere to organizational policies and governance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of resource data.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Agile credentials (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are considered strong assets.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, resource management, or data analytics roles.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, MS Power Platform, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA, Wrike).
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Proven capability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and transformational environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Hourly salary range: $35.64 - $41.95/hour
