ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
- Graduate of two-year approved Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized Community college (or equivalent).
- Computer/Technical skills: Demonstrated keyboarding and Switchboard panel proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet functions.
- Must be able to work day, afternoon and night shifts with minimal call-in notice
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Star ADT system a definite asset.
- Prior medical office experience a definite asset.
- Demonstrated professional telephone skills.
- Satisfactory attendance.
