The Partnerships Manager will develop, manage, and expand strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and increase market share. This role is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and growing relationships with organizations whose platforms, client bases, or distribution channels align with ESC’s services.
The Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Director of Business Development, Director of Product, and Marketing to develop and execute partnership strategies that expand ESC’s reach, increase product adoption, and generate incremental revenue.
This role plays an important part in shaping ESC’s partnership ecosystem and identifying opportunities to strengthen the company’s position within key markets. It also focuses on commercial partnerships and revenue generation and does not include vendor or technology supplier management, which remains within the Product group.
Major Activities:
Partnership Strategy and Development
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute ESC’s reseller partnership strategy, to support revenue growth objectives, and based on customer or market opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify potential new and existing reseller or channel partnership opportunities to drive new revenue growth.
- Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate & deliver partnership opportunities and potential channel expansion initiatives.
- Lead discussions and negotiations with existing and/or prospective partners to establish mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
Partner Acquisition and Onboarding
- Identify and recruit new strategic partners whose customer base, platforms, or services complement ESC’s offerings.
- Develop structured onboarding processes that enable partners to successfully introduce ESC services within their ecosystems.
- Work with internal teams to ensure new partners are properly integrated into ESC’s operational and commercial processes.
Partner Relationship Management and Growth
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for ESC’s resellers strategic partners, maintaining strong engagement at both operational and executive levels.
- Develop joint growth plans with partners to increase adoption of ESC services and expand revenue opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance, identify expansion opportunities, and align on strategic priorities.
Revenue Growth and Market Expansion
- Work with partners to identify opportunities to embed ESC services into partner workflows, platforms, or client offerings.
- Develop joint initiatives that expand ESC’s presence within partner networks and increase overall market share.
- Support the growth of existing partner portfolios while continuously building a pipeline of new partnership opportunities.
Partner Enablement and Go-to-Market Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute partner marketing initiatives, campaigns, and co-branded programs that drive awareness and demand.
- Ensure partners are equipped with the training, messaging, and resources required to effectively represent ESC’s services.
- Support the development of partner-facing content and materials that strengthen ESC’s value proposition within partner ecosystems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Development, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to align partnership initiatives with ESC’s broader commercial strategy.
- Provide feedback from partners and the market to inform product development, service enhancements, and new opportunities.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to support successful partner onboarding, execution of joint initiatives, and ongoing partnership growth.
Performance Tracking and Strategic Reporting
- Develop reporting frameworks to measure partnership performance, revenue contribution, and market impact.
- Analyze partnership performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal leadership that summarize partnership progress, strategic opportunities, and key performance metrics.
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA considered an asset.
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, strategic alliances, business development, account management, or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated experience identifying, negotiating, and developing partnerships that drive revenue growth or expand market reach.
- Experience working cross-functionally across product, marketing, and sales organizations to deliver partnership initiatives.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to evaluate new opportunities through financial and strategic analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong project management and execution skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrates strong capability in analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and business insights to inform strategic recommendations and decisions.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning priorities to achieve business outcomes.
- Supports commercial negotiations and contributes to the development of strategic partnerships that deliver long‑term value.
- Applies financial and business case analysis to assess feasibility, risk, and return on investment.
- Manages projects and initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met.
- Leverages data and performance metrics to guide decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborates across functions to deliver integrated solutions and support enterprise‑wide objectives.
