**Position Details:****Position:**Full-Time (Temp) Traffic Guard
**Site:**City of Mississauga | 975 Central Parkway Drive, Mississauga
**Averaging Agreement:**Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 Hours
**Hours:**Continental Nights (2000 - 0800)
Payrate:$18.40 / an hour
**Posting Date:**March 16th, 2026
**Internal****Closing Date:**March 23rd, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive & reactive security patrols
- Providing access control and ensuring only authorized personnel are entering
- Communicate any concerns/issues with the Client Service Manager
- Encourage a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed
- Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly.
- Ability to work alone
- Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all departments
- Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
- Respond to all types of occurrences.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors
Prerequisites:
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Pervious Customer Service Experience required
- Must have own vehicle
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB Certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
- Authorized to legally work in Canada
