About the Team:
Entertainment Product Development Team: We’re the team behind People Inc.’s Entertainment brands, responsible for building and maintaining the digital experiences for People - our largest brand with over 14 million daily users, as well as Entertainment Weekly and People en Español. We focus on delivering scalable and engaging products that connect millions of readers with the stories and celebrities they care about most.
About the Intern Role:
As an intern, you’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build, test, and launch real features seen by millions of users. You’ll gain hands-on experience with large-scale digital media platforms and contribute to work that goes live, making a visible impact while learning how high-traffic products are developed and maintained.
Internship Responsibilities will Include:
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to build and enhance features on high-traffic web brands.
- Contribute to product releases, from ideation and prototyping to testing and deployment.
- Participate in team stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to experience agile development workflows.
- Help improve site performance, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Explore internal tools, frameworks, and services that support product development.
