As our next Accountant, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining accurate and timely accounting systems. Your expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement will be essential to supporting operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing critical financial insights to drive business success.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintain accurate production methods for standards and actual costs
- Participate in production monitoring improvements and analyze inventory, scrap, downtime, and efficiencies
- Maintain monthly customer pricing and AR sub-ledgers
- Review A/P Freight and A/R invoices for accuracy; resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger and prepare related reports and audits
- Assist in month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Support business planning and forecasting, including budget entry and maintenance
- Conduct ad hoc reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with interim and year-end audit requirements
- Document and apply continuous process improvements
- Work in compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and all other relevant policies
- Develop CI ideas and coordinate improvement initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience is an asset)
- Costing and inventory experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in accounting and pursuing CPA designation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to conduct investigations on the plant floor to resolve issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work weekends to meet month-end deadlines
- High integrity, dependability, and results orientation
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with audits and variance analysis in a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience in implementing process improvements
