The Role

As Sales Manager Southern Alberta, you will play a crucial role in driving NWTC’s sales strategy and performance across multiple branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Oversee all sales activities across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and effective execution
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales priorities and drive initiatives that enhance revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure the effective use and management of CRM systems to track sales activities, customer interactions, deal flow, and pipeline management
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales strategies, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets
  • Integrate customer-centric processes through all departments and support cross-functional collaboration

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (heavy truck sales preferred)
  • Proven experience in managing sales functions for a company with multiple locations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of successful sales development initiatives and growth results
  • Proficiency in sales processes, KPIs, CRM systems, and data analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets
