Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for (20 hours/week) Administrative Support II in Red Deer Immigration and Settlement Service.
Job Summary
As an Administrative Support, you will be responsible for filing, documentation, making phone calls, setting client appointments for multiple programs, understanding the needs of newcomers is an asset as you will be responsible in providing contact information, resources and general information to clients and visitors, taking meeting minutes, filling forms, and data input, and completing program reports to Program Manager. Your attention to detail will assist you in compiling and preparing statistical reports. Your team building skills will assist you in organizing and participating in various meetings. You are self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and part of a service team. You are organized, have great relationship building skills, and are proficient with computers, streamlining office operations through coordinating front-desk activities and offering administrative support across Immigration and Settlement Service (ISS).
What This Job Requires:
- Diploma in office administration or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative office work
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working with newcomers in Canada is an asset
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Criminal Record Check from local RCMP or City Police
- Child Intervention Record Check
