The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-onOperations Lead, Fulfillment & Logisticsto lead warehouse, fulfillment, inventory control and quality functions.
This role is ideal for an experienced Operations Manager ready to step into broader ownership and responsibility within a growing fulfillment environment.
What You’ll Lead
You will oversee:
- Warehouse operations
- Fulfillment and kitting
- Inventory control
- Quality supervision
- Packaging procurement and vendor management
- Equipment repairs and facility coordination

- Warehouse & Fulfillment Team
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Improve warehouse layout and workflow efficiency
- Manage a portion of the business operating out of our Ottawa location, ensuring seamless coordination and performance through effective remote leadership and structured oversight.
- Standardize and document SOPs
- Establish measurable KPIs (order accuracy, inventory accuracy, turnaround time)
Warehouse Management System (WMS) Optimization
- Optimize use of a modern cloud-based WMS platform
- Improve bin accuracy and inventory control logic
- Strengthen reporting and operational visibility
- Train team members on system best practices
- Support system integrations and data integrity
Strong hands-on WMS experience is required. Experience in multi-client 3PL or marketing fulfillment environments is highly preferred.
Inventory & Quality
- Lead cycle count program
- Improve inventory accuracy (target 98–99%)
- Support quality documentation and compliance standards
- Partner with Quality Supervisor on continuous improvement initiatives
Procurement & Cost Control
- Manage sourcing of packaging and consumables
- Monitor operational supply spend
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Identify cost efficiencies without compromising service
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–7+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or 3PL operations leadership
- Proven experience working with a modern, web-based WMS (e.g., ShipHero, 3PL Central, NetSuite WMS, etc.) with strong system utilization and optimization capability
- Demonstrated success in inventory control and accuracy improvement, including cycle counting, root cause analysis, and process discipline (targeting 98–99%+ accuracy)
- A hands-on leader who is comfortable being on the floor, coaching teams, troubleshooting issues, and driving execution in real time
- Experience leading supervisors and small-to-mid-sized operational teams
- Background in multi-client 3PL, e-commerce, or marketing fulfillment environments strongly preferred
- Highly process-driven with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline
- Comfortable operating in a scaling environment with evolving structure, where building processes and driving change is required
