About the role
Job Description Some of what you will do: The Senior Analyst, AI & Automation – Supply Chain Centre of Excellence supports the Supply Chain Replenishment team by designing, testing, and deploying practical analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve forecasting, replenishment, and decision-making.
This role focuses on rapid experimentation and deployment of solutions using cloud-based analytics and AI tools, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI. The emphasis is on delivering business value quickly through iterative development rather than long-cycle enterprise builds.
Specifically, You Will AI, Analytics & Automation
- Build, test, and deploy analytics and AI-enabled solutions to support forecasting, replenishment, and exception management
- Use Vertex AI and related GCP services to prototype and operationalize models and data-driven tools
- Apply automation to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy in replenishment processes
- Enhance existing tools and models based on performance and user feedback
Rapid Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Translate business problems into simple, testable solutions and iterate quickly
- Develop minimum viable solutions (MVS) to validate value before scaling
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis and exception trends
- Track and report solution effectiveness using KPIs and dashboards
Technical & Business Support
- Develop and maintain queries, scripts, and data pipelines using SQL and Python
- Support system enhancements and UAT related to analytics, automation, and AI capabilities
- Integrate solutions with existing forecasting and replenishment platforms (e.g., JDA / Blue Yonder)
- Provide documentation and training to support adoption of new tools and processes
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with replenishment analysts, IT, and other business partners to deliver solutions
- Communicate technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language
- Act as a technical resource within the Replenishment COE, influencing through expertise
Some Of What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Equivalent practical experience will be considered
- Experience delivering analytics, automation, or data-driven solutions in a business setting
- Exposure to forecasting, replenishment, or planning systems is an asset
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments
- Hands-on experience with GCP analytics services and Vertex AI
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis, automation, and prototyping
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms
- Familiarity with basic machine learning and forecasting concepts (not research-level)
- Experience integrating analytics or automation into business workflows
