Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for Accounts Payable Clerk professional.
Preferred Location: BC
Remote, Occasional visit to centre
Languages: Bilingual (French and English Preferred)
Position Summary
This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for various accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Entry and coding high volume of invoices
- Responding to vendor inquiries
- Managing AP email account
- Payment and processing of online and credit card transactions
- Verify vendors’ statements and solve problems where past due invoices appear on statement
- Review, verify and enter employee expense and corporate credit card reports
- Assisting with pay run
- Assisting with month-end AP accruals
- Providing audit support
- Providing reports and analysis as required
- Ongoing accounting support; and other duties as required
Qualifications:
- College Degree in accounting or relevant field from a recognized academic institution; Bachelor's Degree or higher is an asset
- 2-3 years’ bookkeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct is an asset
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Excels as part of a team with high attention to detail and precise operating methodology
