About the role

Description

At CI, we see a great place to work as one that is a safe place for everyone to have a voice, where people are empowered to take ownership over meaningful work, where there is an opportunity to grow through stretching themselves, where they can work on innovative products and projects, and where employees are supported and engaged in doing so.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Senior Analyst to join our institutional team. As Senior Analyst you will be primarily responsible for due diligence completion. You will play a critical role in supporting the firm's client requests for investment and operational due diligence questionnaires by ensuring the timely and accurate collection, review, and organization of key due diligence materials for both existing and prospective institutional and national accounts clients. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with strong analytical and organizational skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Due Diligence Support: Assist with all aspects of the production of RFIs, RFPs, DDQ requests and presentations received from existing and prospective clients.

  • Coordination: Interact and build rapport with subject matter experts from various teams within the firm such as Compliance, Investment Management, Product, Marketing and Operations, which is necessary for the completion of RFIs, RFPs, and DDQs.

  • Collaborate: Work collaboratively with Relationship Managers from our National Accounts and Institutional teams to ensure that RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs are completed diligently and on time.

  • Record Management: Ensure that all finalized DDQs, RFIs, and RFPs are uploaded to our repository platform (Loopio) and act as the in-house expert for the platform who will guide new users in navigating the site.

  • Quality Assurance: Review materials for completeness, consistency, and red flags; escalate issues to senior team members as needed.

  • Reporting: Prepare summaries, trackers, and reports to support internal meetings, investment decisions, or audit/compliance reviews.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of due diligence procedures, workflows, and documentation standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum of 2 years financial services experience, preferably in asset management, operational due diligence, investment operations, or compliance

  • Strong understanding of investment fund structures, operational controls, and the regulatory environment is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Financial services designations (e.g. CFP, CIM, CFA and other CSI courses) a benefit

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective project and time management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word; experience with due diligence and CRM systems (e.g., Dasseti, Flowpoint, SalesForce) is an asset.

  • Post-Secondary education in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
