We offer multiple teaching schedules to suit your availability and student demand:
- Trainings may be during a Daytime, Evening or Weekend schedule
This position may follows a hybrid model, combining digital learning with in-person training.
Salary :
As per the current collective agreement:
$74.74 per hour for non-legally qualified teacher
$80.75 per hour for legally qualified teacher
Possibility of a contract for the current school year.

Details of the position
Are you passionate about Vocational Training and eager to share your knowledge with adult learners? Eastern Townships School Board is currently seeking qualified Teachers for our Vocational Training Centers and Business Services.
Nature of the Work
As a Teacher in the Vocational Training and/or Business Services, you will be delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction in the sector of your Trade. As part of our vocational training programs, continuing education or custom trainings according to the clients needs. You will support adult learners in developing the practical skills they need to thrive in today’s business world.
✨ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans tailored to adult learners.
- Deliver engaging, practical, and interactive instruction.
- Assess and track student progress toward learning outcomes.
- Cover key concepts according to the program of studies or the course outline.
- Foster an inclusive bilingual (English/French) learning environment.
Support learners in both digital and in-person settings
Required qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Quebec teaching authorization: teaching certificate (brevet d’enseignement), a teaching permit, or a provisional authorization.

Hold a vocational education, college education, or bachelor's degree in their field of specialization
For diplomas obtained abroad, the comparative evaluation of studies completed outside Quebec issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration attesting that you have a bachelor's degree is required.
Other requirements

The candidate must have several years of experience in the field of specialization

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bilingualism (French/English) and ability to teach fluently in both languages
