Parkland is growing and has a new opportunity for a Regional Manager, Clinical and Cognitive Support to join our team based in Ontario.
If you are an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with proven people skills that likes to get things done in a multi-faceted environment and you are seeking a challenging opportunity to focus your expertise through an impactful role, we want to hear from you! This role requires on-site presence daily within the GTA to support and assist our sites.

Approximate Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $128,000

About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations for Ontario, with indirect support and oversight by the Chief Medical Officer, the Regional Manager, Clinical and Cognitive Support:
Participates in the development of the organization wide quality / risk program in consultation with other Regional Clinical Managers and the Chief Medical Officer. Leads, mentors, and develops Directors of Care and other clinical leaders to ensure appropriate delivery of care, ultimately managing assessment of quality and improvement of risk. Works with Divisional Lead and General Manager to evaluate clinical performance, identify areas of risk and implement initiatives to mitigate risk. Leads the development of a best-in-class offering for cognitive health / memory care. Identifies development needs within the team and provides/facilitates learning opportunities Leads organizational or regional initiatives. Monitors and analyzes clinical indicators and completes report to proactively identify opportunities to improve care. Ensures licensing requirements and regulatory criteria related to clinical and/or nursing care are maintained Leads campus clinical teams through the response to high-risk clinical incidents and/or external regulatory response Identifies and initiates long-range planning strategies for improvement of care delivery services.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
Diploma in Practical nursing or BN/BScN (preferred).
Current registration with appropriate nursing association
Previous experience as a regional clinical leader preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a clinical leadership position. Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. A strong understanding of dementia, cognitive impairment and Alzeihmer’s disease, with experience in memory care settings preferred. Previous experience providing support to clinical leaders to continually assess and improve practice required. Knowledge of PIECES, Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), U- FIRST training considered an asset. A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to best-in-class care. Previous experience developing a memory care / cognitive health offering for residents in a long term care or retirement setting preferred.
Bilingualism in English and French also considered an asset
