Quality Assurance Coordinator
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet internal and external quality standards. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, manages quality documentation, and coordinates audits and compliance activities aligned with ISO standards and API610 requirements.
You will
- Ensure the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of both our Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and standalone Quality Programs tailored to TSSA and CSA N299.3 requirements
- Coordinate internal audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions
- Participate in Risk Assessments and support mitigation planning related to quality and compliance
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement
- Support Management initiatives by assisting in creation of KPIs and departmental goals
- Coordinate Change Management Activities related to quality documentation and processes
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and QC teams to resolve non-conformances and implement preventive actions across departments
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA
- Ensure compliance with Ontario-specific manufacturing regulations and safety standards
- Facilitate training sessions on quality standards, procedures, and continuous improvement tools
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across departments

Qualification Requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivator skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and proactively communicate and work closely with other departments
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Education and/or Experience
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a QA role within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
- Experience with internal auditing and quality system implementation
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management systems, Risk Management & Continuous Improvement Methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an asset
