About the role

The West Coast General Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide urgent locum services.

West Coast General Hospital, with 56 acute care beds and a 3-bed ICU, is a modern facility that incorporates a unique and inviting design complete with an indoor atrium.

Services include 24-hour emergency room, ambulatory care, acute medical/surgical and psychiatry services, cardio pulmonary, diabetes education, laboratory, medical imaging (CT scanner), nutrition counseling, pharmacy, occupational therapy, SLP, social work and physiotherapy services. Clinical specialists include anesthesiology, general surgery, urology, geriatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and radiology complete with PACs imaging system.

CCFP-EM, FRCPC or ABEM

Eligible for Full Licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC

ACLS, ATLS, PAL and Emergency Medicine Experience
