About the role
As the HR Data Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of human resources data processed through our Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems. In this role you will be responsible for performing data processing tasks, maintaining data quality and accuracy. You will acquire and maintain a well-rounded understanding of Ledcor’s employee lifecycle changes, daily time and pay processing, pay elements, benefits and becoming familiar with union Collective Bargaining Agreements, Pre-Jobs and understanding of our union workforce. Essential Responsibilities: Process and maintain employee records, compensation, timekeeping, and payroll transactions in Workday, JDE, and HCM systems with accuracy and efficiency Validate, audit, and reconcile HR and payroll data to ensure completeness, compliance, and data integrity while resolving discrepancies with stakeholders Complete a wide range of employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, pay and hours changes, terminations, employee status updates, and complex business-unit requests Manage payroll-related updates by maintaining employee master data, PDBA/DBA codes, non-integrated JDE fields, and active employment statuses in accordance with payroll cycles Review system-generated and manual HR correspondence for accuracy and support timely completion of Workday business processes to minimize payroll adjustments and statutory pay impacts Resolve HR and payroll cases within established service levels, provide advanced support for employee inquiries, and collaborate with payroll, time and pay, HR Business Partners, and operations to address complex issues Support system quality by troubleshooting HCM and payroll issues, testing system enhancements and integrations, and identifying opportunities for process and system improvements Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to urgent HR and payroll issues, escalating critical matters as needed and documenting non-urgent requests for follow-up Qualifications: Minimum 2 years relevant Service Delivery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Human Resource Service Centre service delivery Excellent customer service and service compliant resolution skills Strong communication and listening skills to deliver messages in a clear and compelling manner Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of precision of data and accuracy in any deliverables Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment Flexible with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization The ability to maintain confidentiality Strong sense of urgency as part of daily work style Excellent time management and organizational skills Additional Information The Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
