Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for preparing the team for the work day including room assignments, team assignments, and also conducting guest room inspections to ensure arrivals and stayover rooms are completed at a 4-star level.
Wage: $22-$23/hr
Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily room assignment and additional tasks for the housekeeping team.
- Perform guest room and public area inspections to ensure MTN house standards and guidelines are met.
- Conduct basic performance management to promote or correct any observed behaviours amongst the team.
- Communicate any deficiencies or concerns, to the front desk and maintenance teams accordingly.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure arrivals and departures are properly prepared for, and room inventory is accurately reflected.
Requirements
- 1 year of previous housekeeping supervisory experience. 4-star experience is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail specific to cleanliness and amenity placement and overall guest room inspections.
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, crouching, reaching, and pulling.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
