Englobe is looking for a Billing Agent for a full-time role.

Your Main Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of project-based invoicing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contract terms and internal policies; Set up and maintain billing terms in Deltek Vantagepoint, including fee structures (e.g., Fixed Fee, Time & Materials) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS); Interpret engineering contracts to ensure proper billing setup, including revenue recognition, taxes, markups, and supporting documentation requirements; Prepare and distribute draft invoices to Project Managers; review and incorporate feedback; Review and correct miscoded labour, expenses, and sub-consultant charges; process transfers between projects or phases as required; Support Accounts Receivable by investigating client billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies as needed; Identify and implement improvements to billing processes, controls, and system usage; Finalize and post invoices to the General Ledger, and distribute via email or client e-billing portals; Support monthly billing cycles and deadlines, working closely with Project Managers and Finance; Contribute to month-end close activities related to billing and revenue; Perform other duties as assigned by the Billing Supervisor or Controller; Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

What Makes You Unique

Diploma or certificate in Accounting or a related field; 2-5 years of experience in project billing or professional services accounting; Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint (strong asset); Experience in a professional services or engineering environment (asset); Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to interpret contracts and resolve billing discrepancies; Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet strict deadlines; Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
