About the role
Midland Transportis currently seeking a full-timeOperations Manager- Courierto be based out of Moncton Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, theOperations Manager, Courieris responsible for overseeing the Dieppe terminal’s courier operations, with direct accountability for safety, service performance, and achieving key operational and financial targets. This role leads PD and dock operations while managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving KPI results. The Operations Manager ensures efficient, high‑quality service delivery through strong operational leadership, continuous improvement, and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Accountable for achieving budgeted cost, safety, service, quality, and utilization targets for courier operations at the terminal.

Lead, coach, and manage direct reports to meet or exceed operational and financial performance goals.

Oversee overall terminal hub safety for dock, P&D, and office operations; implement, support, and enforce the safety plan as required.

Maintain strong employee engagement and foster a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.

Manage day‑to‑day courier operations to drive efficiency, productivity, and service excellence.

Support customer service resolution and meet with area customers as required to address operational concerns and strengthen relationships.

High School Diploma required; post‑secondary education considered an asset.

1–3 years of relevant experience in operations or a related field.

Terminal operations experience considered an asset,
-
Experience leading teams.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to multitask, adapt, and show a willingness to learn and grow.
