About the role

Stainless Steel Location: Montreal, Quebec

Compensation- $55k-$95k + Bonus + RRSP contribution

Our client is a multi-line steel distributor catering to the food, chemical, steel fabrication, and architectural industries for over 40 years. Their processing capabilities include plasma cutting, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, stainless steel polishing, stainless steel shearing, and saw cutting. Additionally, they offer valve automation, structural and sanitary tubing, and all engineered fluid transfer products.

With continued success and growth, North America’s premier certified stainless-steel distributor is looking for an Inside Sales Representative. The successful candidate must have a background in the Steel Service industry or related experience. The individual will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of sales accounts, customer relationship management, and responding to customer service issues.

The Role

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and margin requirements.
  • Independently prospect new business opportunities while managing existing business.
  • Develop a sales and marketing plan for the geographic territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with all their client's decision makers.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in business marketing preferred, or minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Excellent customer service skill, consultative selling, and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter who is results driven, professional, and a team player.
  • Fluency in French and English
