About Our Opportunity
The Registry of Motor Vehicle Modernization Team is on a mission to redefine service delivery for Nova Scotians. Join us on this transformative journey to enhance how services are delivered, making them more user-friendly and efficient.

Primary Accountabilities
- Support contracted resource procurement initiatives, including documentation and liaison tasks with FLEXTrack or other procurement methods.
- Provide project support for Tangible Capital Asset (TCA) funded activities related to advancing product workstream design and delivery.
- Provide comprehensive project support services with a focus on responsiveness, proactivity, and confidentiality.
- Draft and distribute communications, including blog posts, product release notifications, and responses to inquiries.
- Assist the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team by drafting briefing notes, preparing presentations, managing and maintaining agile ceremonies and more.
- Support project financial management and tracking activities as related to order and invoice tracking and documentation.
- Adapt to rapidly evolving priorities with flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Maintain meticulous files in compliance with STAR/STOR Record management requirements.
- Manage duties associated with resource onboarding and offboarding process, including orientation support and setup for new workstream team members.
- Oversee the processing of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring efficient communication flows.
Qualifications and Experience
Must-Haves:
- A 1 year business course with at least 4 years of directly related working experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of effective interpersonal interactions.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a computerized environment, with accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Precise attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience managing public resources and familiarity with government procurement practices.
- Have completed a business/administrative support or other related program.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting government transformation initiatives, showcasing an ability to navigate and contribute to significant changes.
Equivalency
