JOB SUMMARY
The Training & Membership Coordinator, Accessibility Certification (AC) is responsible for RHFAC Professionals and the Accessibility Professional Network (APN). Duties include supporting the RHFAC training courses, RHFAC Professional designation, and APN membership. The Training & Membership Coordinator also coordinates events, such as the APN monthly webinars and speaking engagements, and assists with the APN conference.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Training & Membership Coordinator, AC reports to the Sr. Manager, Training, Membership & Special Projects and works closely with the RHFAC Team, RHF Marketing & Communications team, and other RHF staff. The Training & Membership Coordinator maintains a number of external relationships with post-secondary institution partners, instructors, exam delivery partners, professional bodies and associations, vendors, consultants, clients, learners and members.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Training: RHF Learning Platform
-
Set up courses with session dates, notifications, discussion forums, and grading tools.
-
Provides clear, accurate and concise information promptly to prospective and current learners, including handling general inquiries about RHFAC courses and activities;
-
Monitors RHFAC Training inbox. Ensures timely and coordinated responses and tracks activity for follow-up;
-
Manages tuition grant programs, including program promotions, processing applications, managing registrations and invoicing with participating institutions, and overall tracking and reporting;
-
Monitors and records learner experiences, engagement and issues, and recommends improvements;
-
Contributes to the development and implementation of strategies to recruit new learners and progress current learners, including presenting to learners at the end of each course;
-
Assists in the development and updates of journey maps and processes for RHFAC Training learners and RHFAC Professionals;
-
Liaises with post-secondary institutional partners and instructors on new course offerings, revenue share and learner information;
-
Collaborates with the RHFAC Technical Team to support the training; instructors/facilitators through onboarding, continuous training, and the instructor resource portal;

Manages exam delivery partner(s); and
-
Expands and maintains relationships with professional bodies and associations recognizing RHFAC courses for continuing education.
Accessibility Professional Network (APN)
-
Manages RHFAC Professional designation process and compliance tracking. Includes Continuing Education Units (CEUs), APN membership, and mandatory education;
-
Provides membership support to RHFAC Professionals and APN members by handling all questions, information requests, and complaints regarding RHFAC Professional designation and APN membership in a timely and accurate manner;
-
Maintains and updates RHFAC Professional/APN membership records for dashboards, mailing lists, and other activities;
-
Assists with RHFAC Professional/APN member communication (i.e., membership status, renewals, CEU status, RHFAC Professional standing, or other relevant RHFAC program updates);
-
Contributes to the development and implementation of strategies to recruit new APN members and retain current members and RHFAC Professionals;
-
Collaborates with RHF’s Marketing and Communications team to develop and update marketing and onboarding materials for RHFAC Professionals/APN members; and develop social media plans to recognize and celebrate RHFAC Professionals/APN members;
-
Monitors and records RHFAC Professional/APN member experience, engagement, and issues, and recommends improvements to member support initiatives for enhanced member satisfaction;
-
Manages the APN platform, including job board, discussion forums, resource library and technical issues;
-
Stays abreast of changes to the APN membership platform (Fonteva) and APN Webinar platform (InEvent);
-
Coordinates monthly APN webinars and speaking engagements. Includes managing webinar logistics, building webinar registration, webinar accessibility requirements (e.g., ASL, captioning etc.), providing speakers support, communications, collecting post-event feedback, and resources;

Collaborates with RHFAC Technical Team to administer training to RHFAC Professionals;
-
Coordinates with RHF’s Finance team to track APN membership revenue;
-
Supports with planning of APN Conference and delegate registration; and
-
Conducts RHFAC Professional/member outreach and engagement through phone calls, emails or other channels.
Other:

Contributes to operationalizing the annual operations plan, updating the department workplans and setting goals;

Contributes to identifying efficiencies to maximize workflows and developing/updating standard operating procedures;
-
Contributes to the evaluation processes to identify areas of improvement / enhancement based on input and feedback from stakeholders;
-
Supports French delivery of initiatives;
-
Ensures accurate dashboard and activity maintenance in Salesforce and generates necessary reports;
-
Collaborates with RHF’s Marketing and Communications team to develop materials, create social media content, and update website;
-
Supports the Membership & Event Coordinator, AC and RHFAC team, as required; and
-
Performs other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
An equivalent combination of education, experience and skills/behaviours will be considered.
Education:
- University degree, Diploma or Certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in business, communications or marketing.
Certification/Designation:
- Designation as an RHFAC Professional is an asset.
- Designation as a Certified Project Management Professional, or equivalent designation/ experience is an asset.
Experience/Knowledge:

Minimum 3 years of related experience in a related field;
-
Strong experience with providing timely and quality internal and external customer service;
-
Experience in training delivery, association management, program delivery, and/or event management preferred;
-
Experience in accessible customer service, including communication with customers who require various forms of accommodations;
-
Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners, RHFAC Professionals/APN members, vendors and consultants.

Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of project performance indicators to inform decision-making;
-
High proficiency using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other MS Apps;

Experience with Canvas, Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems preferred.Experience with Salesforce, Fonteva or other customer relationship management and membership software preferred;

Experience delivering events via virtual event platforms such as InEvent, and Zoom Webinar;

Knowledge or experience working with individuals with disabilities an asset; and
-
Fluency in French, oral and written, preferred.
