About the role
As Senior Manager, Creative Operations, your mission is to enable Juniper to create strong, story-driven product launches. Your team is responsible for “Creative Proposals,” the foundation that aligns clients and cross-functional teams on the purpose of each launch. You will collaborate across Juniper to make sure Creative Proposals provide clarity and guide future decisions. You will manage Brand Strategy Specialists and Art Directors, and ensure they have the direction and capacity to create excellent work that sets the tone for each launch.

We help online creators, game studios, and animation companies bring their ideas to life by designing and creating custom products, launching them on branded storefronts, and shipping to customers. Areas You’ll Own
-Creative Proposals and Workflow – Oversee the Creative Proposal workflow, delivering work that meets quality standards, aligns with launch goals, and is completed reliably. Ensure proposals are communicated thoughtfully based on the client and context. Review team output broadly, and guide the creation of tools or documentation that help the team work more effectively and consistently. -Cross-Functional Collaboration – Help Brand Strategy drive an effective launch development process by clarifying what information is needed, defining which decisions the team should own, and identifying when to involve other teams. This ensures launches proceed smoothly and with shared understanding. -Capacity and Prioritization – Guide the team in focusing on work that advances company strategy, making trade-offs visible and ensuring priorities reflect Juniper’s broader goals. -People Leadership – Support team members by setting clear expectations, guiding professional development, and gathering feedback. Advocate for their team’s perspective to build understanding across teams.
Key Responsibilities
-Defining Deliverables – Shape the Creative Proposal and other internal deliverables to ensure they build on each other, enable clear decisions, and adapt to the situation. -Intake and Workflow – Oversee incoming opportunities, clarify priorities, and assign projects and timelines. Keep the team focused on high-impact projects without delaying launches. -Feedback and Alignment – Lead the feedback and approval process for Creative Proposals. Clarify expectations and keep proposals moving efficiently while maintaining alignment and quality. -Pipeline Visibility – Maintain clear visibility into the team’s work and priorities. Highlight priorities and potential risks so stakeholders can provide input or respond. -Planning and Resourcing – Assess team capacity, identify skill or resourcing gaps, and recommend adjustments based on forecasted team and company needs. -Coaching and Enablement – Support team members in improving quality, overcoming challenges, and making decisions in a fast moving environment.
Qualifications
-Complex Environments – Proven experience in creative operations, program management, or a similar role in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Skilled at bringing clarity to complex work, and managing shifting priorities and timelines. -Creative Workflow Understanding – Experience managing team capacity, prioritizing work, and shaping workflows in a creative setting. Strong understanding of creative workflows, including feedback cycles, cross-functional handoffs, and adaptability. -Stakeholder Management – Experience aligning creative and non-creative partners, identifying trade-offs, and enabling shared understanding. -Creative Experience and Leadership – Experience managing and coaching creative professionals and setting a high bar for quality, independence, and team alignment. Personal experience working in a creative discipline enables you to understand your team members, provide actionable feedback, and drive improvements to our quality and craft. -Industry Familiarity – Comfortable operating in a scaling organization where processes will continuously be explored, adapted, and refined. Experience in the creator economy, consumer products, brand strategy, or launch-based environments is a strong asset.

At Juniper, our compensation philosophy is to offer fair pay that reflects the scope of the role, level of impact, individual experience, and the current stage of the company.
The annual base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000 CAD, plus an annual performance-based bonus.
Where an offer lands within this range depends on a number of factors, including experience, skills, role scope, and expected impact. Our ranges are intentionally broad to support growth over time and reflect that base salary is one part of a broader total compensation package.
As scope and impact grow, compensation can evolve through salary progression and performance-based bonuses. We review compensation on a quarterly basis to ensure it continues to align with both company growth and individual development.
