Digital Commerce Analytics Manager
Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Consumer Products / Digital Commerce Salary: $72,000–$116,150 per year About the Opportunity A global consumer products organization is seeking a Digital Commerce Analytics Manager to join its Digital Commerce team. This role will support commercial and account management teams by analyzing digital commerce performance, identifying growth opportunities, and translating complex data into actionable business insights. The position combines commercial analytics, digital retail performance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on using data to improve sales performance and accelerate growth across digital commerce channels and emerging platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Own business review processes and performance reporting across digital commerce channels. Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, product availability, digital shelf performance, and SKU-level results. Identify trends, growth opportunities, and performance drivers through detailed data analysis. Translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations. Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, presentations, and business insights. Partner with account management teams to provide analytical support and recommendations. Respond to performance-related inquiries and identify opportunities for optimization. Conduct post-event and promotional analysis to evaluate performance and inform future strategies. Support annual customer planning activities, including promotions, merchandising initiatives, product launches, and revenue growth programs. Investigate deductions and discrepancies and support their timely resolution. Maintain reporting documentation, data governance standards, and efficient analytical processes. Support cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analytics requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital retail, omnichannel sales, retail media, marketplace management, or commercial analytics. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including experience developing clear and actionable reporting models. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex business data and communicate findings effectively. Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office, sales databases, and web-based applications. Ability to identify relevant data points, recognize trends, and translate analysis into a compelling business narrative. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working effectively within a matrix organization and building relationships across functions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and strong data-management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
